Situated in the town of Kalo Nero in Messinia - Peloponnese, is where the delightful shop of "Aspasia" is located, where you will find a wonderful selection of traditional products. Unlike other shops, the "Aspasia" shop has one of the largest selections of traditional and naturally produced products in the whole of Messinia, and is famous throughout the area for the quality of products one can find here.
Located close the main road between the regions of Kyparissia and Pyrgos, the large modern shop is a perfect place to stop, and have a look at the various traditional products available. Peloponnisos is a part of Greece where old traditions are still rigorously maintained, and food products is one such tradition. Aspasia Traditional Products have maintained the traditional methods for the production of their items and foodstuff, and the quality of the products you will find here is second to none. Working in collaboration with local farmers and producers, Aspasia work hard to make sure that the high quality and natural ingredients used in their products is maintained.
The shop has been operating and providing their famous products since 1938, when the grandfather of "Aspasia" first opened for business. Since then, the shop has been hugely successful, and is extremely popular with both locals and visitors to the region.

Some of the traditional and unique products that you can find at the shop include a wonderful selection of cheeses, including the "Malis" cheese, which takes its name from the mountain where the cheese is traditionally produced. Aspasia also have available their own selection of cheese which is manufactured from the milk of local farmers. Other popular dairy products include butter, yogart and pasta which are all traditionally prepared using only natural ingredients and techniques. There is also a wonderful selection of olives and olive oil that is produced from the vineyards of Aspasia. Fresh and natural fruits and vegetables such as oranges, grapes, and potatoes are also grown locally, and which have a wonderful and unique taste to them.

At the shop, you will also find a wonderful selection of sweets. There is also the very tasty and extremely popular local honey, that will offer your tastebuds a fascinating experience. We also have available a delightful selection of local tsipouro and wines, that are locally made. Whatever type of traditionally produced product you are looking for, or for some that you may not have even imagined, we invite you to stop by at our shop and see for yourself. Outside our shop, we also operate a small cafe bar, where you can come and relax with a drink or light snack. We are open from 6am to 1am everyday, so whenever you are passing by the region, we look forward to welcoming you here. Our unique selection of traditional products is available only at our shop, and you will not find them anywhere else.
